I went upstairs for literaly maybe 2 minutes. When I left Talan was sitting across the room playing with his book. When I came back dowstairs me made it over to the tv crawled up onto the tv stand and pulled down the plant bottom that I had previously just drenched with water.. He kept saying uh ohh, but of course he didnt do it once i started filming...

We went down to Salt Lake to hang out with David before he goes on the road for 28 days. We went and looked at the trucks he will be driving and we went to Hogle Zoo, Talan loved the monkeys.

Talan has been sick for a few days and he wasnt the happiest kid on his birthday. The cake scared the hell out of him and all he wanted to do was sleep. Still I have the cutest boy around Ü Sorry the pics are so small. I will work on that.

Grandpa Bruce sent Talan a stuffed lion for christmas. We call him Fassa short for Mufassa (sp?) from Lion King. Talan loves him. THANKS GRANDPA!!!

Tub Time

Talan got bath letters in his stocking from Santa. Everytime he gets in the tub now he picks one up and puts it in his mouth. he will hold it there till i take him out. sometimes he will change letters but he always has one in his mouth

we were out at my parents house for a sushi and tempura dinner Sunday. After we ate Ayva and Laila were doing puzzles. Ayva got silly and started throwing her pieces in the air. Talan thought it was so funny.

Talan's surgery is FINALY all over with. Dr. Blotter drained all of the fluid out of his ears and put tubes in each. Dr. Jennsen did the hearing test and he past the right but failed the left AGAIN! They think there was some nerve damage during birth, and do not think he will ever be able to hear in his left ear. But no worries at least he can hear in one.

Well, Talan did not have his surgery today. He wasn’t supposed to eat anything after midnight; Of course he woke up at 2:30 and was hungry. My pediatrician said it would be fine to give him a little formula at least 3-4 hours before his surgery. We waited and waited at the hospital then the surgeon came and told us that I should not have given him anything to eat and we had to reschedule for nest Friday. It is so frustrating. How am I not allowed to give my baby food. He is only six months old. He can’t just wait like an older kid. Whatever, we will try again next Friday the 5th.

Logan Fair

We went to the Logan fair on Saturday night, we had a great time. David and Talan played the Duck Scoope and won a stuffed cow, it is now Talan's favorite toy. I took Talan on the carousel and he LOVED it. The horse he was on raised up and down. He held on and looked around with a huge smile on his face. All night I wanted a shaved ice, we walked around for two hours by the time we went to get one it was closed. :( We picked the best location for our house, we are just around the corner from the fair grounds, it has been nice to be able to walk and not fight for a parking spot. However you can hear everything from Talan’s room, we have been listening to the rodeo past 11:00pm all weekend. Oh and yes you can smell the rodeo in our house too.

Talan Needs Tubes

Talan had a doctor's appointment today with an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist. He has failed all of his hearing test on his left ear and still has alot of fluid in there. His Dr. has decided to put tubes in his ears on August 29th. We are hoping that after they drain the fluid out he will be able to hear and pass his hearing test. I have been having alot of fun teaching him sign language, He is now starting to do some signs back to me. He does the sign for milk when I show him his bottle. We are so proud of our sweet adorable baby. And I know everything will go just fine. Love you all.

Kim and I share our Birthday on July 8th. I was born on her 12th birthday, The best present she has EVER gotten! Family and friends got together for dinner and cold stone cake. It was a great day.

Bobby's Wedding

Logan River Trail

There is a trail about a block from my house. It is 1 mile one way. talan and I go everyday, it is so nice because it stays cool with all the tree's and the river.

Every Wednesday we walk to the park and watch david play Softball. He plays on a competative time with some of his friends and guys he works with.

We have put alot of work into our little home. We have painted every room except the master, we are still going to paint two different shades of blue on both sides of the brown strip in talans room. We planted a cute little garden out front. It is so nice having our own place, we love it here. (Except for 80% of our neighbours, but that is a whole other story)

Talan LOVES his bath time. If I am going too slow in the morning he will cry and fuss until I finally put him in the tub. The second we walk into the bathroom he stops crying and starts smiling. Spoiled!!?!!

Lake Powelll

Fathers Day

We started the Day off by going to breakfast at Anggies, we came home and David opened his present from Talan, after that we went to the driving range and hit some golf balls. We ended the day out at my Dad's house. It was a great First Fathers Day.

On Saturday we went to Summer Fest. It was SO hot we decided to buy Talan a pool, (ok; it was mostly for us) The water came out of the foset so cold Talan didnt want to be in there very long. David has used it more then him.
